House Colour Hero and Support of Project Compassion

Project Compassion, a Caritas Australia initiative, is a Catholic Faith in action organisation. During Lent, class groups have been learning about the work of Project Compassion and the groups of people that they help.

To continue our learning about Project Compassion and to help support their work, Holy Cross will be having a fundraising day on Wednesday 31st March. Students are asked to bring in a gold coin donation and come dressed in house coloured mufti clothing to be a house colour hero.

Holy Week Liturgy

To remember the events of Holy Week, Holy Cross will be having a special Holy Week Liturgy in the Church on Wednesday 1st April at 12pm. Due to the easing of COVID restrictions parents are invited to join in this event.

Easter Mass

Easter does not stop after Easter Sunday. In the Catholic Church, Easter runs for 50 days up to Pentecost when the apostles received the Holy Spirit. As a school community, we will be celebrating Easter on our return to school in Term Two. To celebrate, an Easter Mass will be held at 9:15am on Wednesday 21st April at the Holy Cross Church. Parents are warmly invited to come and join in this celebration.
