On Tuesday, Mrs Jennett, Mrs Baker, Maddie B and Will attended the Diocesan Catholic Mission Launch at St Thomas Moore in Ruse.

We joined all the other Catholic Primary Schools and High Schools in our Diocese at a Liturgy led by our Bishop, Brian Mascord.

We learned about the work of Catholic Mission and how they help those less fortunate around our world. The work of Catholic Mission is one of outreach. If we don't help them...who will??

We learned that the focus country for this year is Ethiopia and the program that our fundraising will support is the purchase of goats. The goats provide nourishment to the whole community through their production of milk. We will start our fundraising activities early Term 4.

"Jesus said I have come that you may have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).  In supporting Catholic Mission, we are sharing the good life that we have, the gifts that we have been given to enable life to the full for all.
