Congratulations Ruby
On the weekend, Ruby played at the City v Country Oztag tournament. Ruby played for the Seahawks who made the Grand Final being runners up in extra time. Ruby’s stellar performance at this competition resulted in her being selected for the NSW Oztag State Cup competition which will take place in February. This is another outstanding achievement for Ruby and we are incredibly proud of her.
2022 CDF Sports Awards
On Friday 11th November, two of our students received a Diocese of Wollongong Sports Awards in recognition of their representative performance and team selections this year.
We are very proud of both Jesse and Eddie for receiving a Primary Red Award for their selection in at least two MacKillop Teams and for their high level of sporting achievement and contributions as Diocesan Team members. Well done boys!
Para Athlete of the Year!
A special congratulations to Eddie, who also received one of the main awards of the night. Eddie won Most Outstanding Para Athlete of the Year!
Eddie outperformed all other Wollongong Dioceasn primary and secondary multi class athletes to receive this award. This is an incredible achievement for such a young athlete!
On Tuesday, 22nd November, 46 of our students from Years 3 to 6 attended an OzTag Gala Day organised by OzTag NSW. The gala day was held at Thomas Dalton Park and over 20 different primary schools from the area attended.
