School Sport Australia Cricket Champion!
Over the past 2 weeks, Ella (Year 6) and her family travelled to Darwin so that Ella could represent NSW at the School Sport Australia Girls Cricket Championships where her team won the grand final! It was an amazing win for Ella and her team, beating South Australia by 28 runs and with Ella taking the winning wicket!
This incredible win made Ella and her team the 12-Year Girls National Cricket Champions for 2023.
We congratulate Ella on this outstanding sporting achievement. We are sure this will be an experience she will never forget and the first of many more medals to come!
2023 NSWCPS Cross Country Championships
On 13 June, 8 Holy Cross students represented the Diocese of Wollongong at the NSW Catholic Primary School Cross Country Championships, held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
Each of these students trained and prepared for their races and had outstanding performaces on the day, representing Holy Cross with pride. We congratulate Archie, Max, Jesse, Nate, Lachlan, Eddie, Emma and Tom for their committment and sportsmanship shown not only leading up to the event but also on the day where they cheered and encouraged each other to do their best.

8/9 Year Boys
Archie- 10th Place
Max- 34th Place
10 Year Boys
Jesse- 1st Place
Nate- 5th Place
Lachlan- 11th Place
These boys also took out the 10 years boys teams gold medal!
11 Year Boys (Multi-class)
Eddie- 2nd Place
11 Year Girls
Emma M- 12th Place
12 Year Boys
Tom- 20th Place
Congratulations to Jesse, Nate and Eddie who will now represent the Mackillop Team at the NSWPSSA All Schools Cross Country Championships on July 21.
