On Tuesday 11 February we recognised Safer Internet Day at Holy Cross. Classes were engaged in activities to broaden the awareness and understanding of how technology and devices are part of our lives. Being safe online was the key message.

• Swoosh and Glide and Rule number 5: An online picture book which you can download and read with young children. There are also video and audio versions.
• Mighty Heroes online safety adventures: This series of videos is designed for children aged 5 to 8 years old. You can use the videos and the accompanying conversation starters to talk with your children about how to protect themselves online.
• Family tech agreements: Explore and use our family tech agreements to set rules that suit the age and needs of children and young people, about how devices, like smartphones, tablets, computers, TVs and gaming consoles are used at home.
• We can always talk about being safe online: Download the poster for your home.
